OK, well the fact(?) that there may be 31 movies and then quitting
is one thing, but.... can you at least admit that the way you
stated it ("these are the movies I've seen so far...") isn't
    correct?

In other words, you have *NOT* seen all the movies that you listed

    I haven't yet. But there's a plan for 31 movies total then they're
    quitting
    James Bond.

    Two comments.

First one is that James Bond died for me when
Brosnan gave the role up. It is not that Craig
did a bad job, but the films he starred were not
    very good imo.

Second one is that franchies only die when they
stop making money... if the last film they make
generates a lot, they will ditch their plans and
make yet another dozen. I have already heard
lots of music band / games /whatever cancells
that were postponed because of $$$$$$.

You know, I keep hearing that the film he starred
was among the best, but it starred one of the
    worst Bonds :-)

Anyway, they say he was a difficult person to
work with in the set. Much like this guy who
played Iron Man's sidekick in the first film and
    got replaced.

Ronin is an excellent film. Main character is played by Robert DeNiro. Story deals with former intelligence operatives recruited for private sector work in a time when nations no longer need as many operatives with their skill sets.

Remember this was the 1960's and that was probably the stereotype that male models and other well groomed, well dressed men who appear self absorbed

I don't think anybody is implying anything, other than stating a fact.
Several actors made their way into acting through modeling or being a poster boy/ girl, however Broccoli was very protective of the Bond franchise.

Christopher Lee was a relative of Ian Fleming, and was Fleming's forst choice to play Bond. Later in his career Lee stated he was part of the SOE during WW II, so he would've been a perfect match for the role.
