Fiat only just started to sell cars where I am (US) around 2011 or
2012.
1970s fiats were fun little cars. Swap out the carb for a weber,
suspension parts were cheap, small tires = cheap, and engines that
liked to rev meant that you had a fun little ride.
I had more fun driving a friend's boxy front-wheel drive 128 around
curves than my other friends who had muscle cars.
And, the X1/9 - same free-revving feel in a mid-engine car with skinny
tires meant you could make it oversteer, understeer, or both -
sometimes both at the same time!
... Would you like to wake up from this dream?
