• AOL 4.0 Emulator

From Baguette@VERT/CAVEBBS to All on Fri Jul 26 04:32:00 2019
A couple of months ago I found out about this program someone's making to try and emulate as much of AOL 4.0 as they can. It's only been in development for about a year, so of course there isn't much there right now, but the next release is planed to have custom email domains and fix a few crashes in the current release. It even has an option for dial-up noises when you log in. Unfortunately, though, it doesn't work with XP or older.

If anyone's interested enough, I can post the link to their site.

Not sure if you'll find anyone in BBS land interested in AOL for many reasons but posting a link won't "break" anything. ;-)

Yeah, that's the one. I already posted a link to their website, but when I'm looking here on other boards the message hasn't appeared yet. Maybe it takes a while to send, I dunno, I'm new to using BBSes.

Ha, yeah, I kinda realized after I posted it that people here probably don't care that much about things like AOL. Still, here's their site if anybody
    wants to check it out:

Well, that answers that. They -do- take a while to send. A few hours, I think. ----
