From apam@21:1/126 to ALL on Sat Nov 2 20:24:40 2019
    Hey

Anyone know where I could get SIOREG.ZIP from? The only place google
knows about that has it is the thunderbolt bbs, and that seems to be
    down.

Talk about coincidence - Sean Dennis just posted about it in Micronet that he has it on his BBS.

I have a copy. It is not yet in my BBS directories, though, but I can
email it to you. I think I have your address.

If you get it working, let me know. I just tried with eComStation and
SIO160D, it works unregistered but applying the patch causes a system
    fault next boot.

I don't have any OS/2 now to try it out. That's a bummer. Ray Gwinn wrote
a newer version of sio, sio2k I think it was called. I never ran that
version so I wonder if it needs registering or if it has more features
    when unregistered?

OS/2 was the best DOS/Windows and OS in it's time and there was a lot of
really great software written for it, but I think I'll stick with good
    'ol linux.. :)

That would be my over zealus spam filter again. Sorry about that. I think I got
it sent via netmail though - will check when I get home.

Bummer. I find gmail can be a little tricky when attaching zips. Andrew
sent me the file so I did get it and that's for trying as well.. :)

That's probably to be expected. Anything that looks like a keygenerator is going to get flagged as malware by Google. You could presumably email it
anyway if you encrypt it with a password to stop Google from scanning the contents.

Maybe rename the file SIOREG.TXT, send, rename back to ZIP.

    -Profit!
