Feels long today, beer o clock is still hours away :(

Oh I just got home from a walk. A couple of weeks ago the supermarket and bottle-shop across the road just closed down. So I decided to go for a
walk to the next closest one. Plus I had a letter to post to canada.

So away I went with bottle of water, bag and no hat in the blistering sun
for an enormous trek to the now nearest shopping center. When I got there
I posted my letter ($3 to canada was quiet a suprise, I was thinking more
like $5-$10 canada is pretty far away you know), then I bought some beer.

My favourite is heniken, at this bottle shop it's $22.50 for a six pack
of bottles 330ml each or $24.00 for a six pack of cans 500ml each. So I
got the cans. (Mind you it's cheaper to get a carton, but then I'd have
    to carry it).

Off I go home again uphill all the way with bag, water bottle and six
pack of cans. Well I suppose if you read this far you would be expecting something interesting to happen about now, but it did not. I did not
collapse in a sweltering heap, but made it home.. and I live to tell the
    tale.

My goodness I am unfit though.

    Good for you.

I like the fact that the story includes postage, most often these days
postage is not included and you have to pay for that ;-p

I quite like that too and Corona and well most beers that don't cost too much if I were to be totally truthful :)

I thought the beer would be gone to lighten the load and the water made it
    home safely :)

My goodness I am unfit though.

You need to buy beer more often. It's a scientific fact that walking to get beer aids digestion and helps to create insightful BBS eureka moments when
    out and about :) #funfact

Tuesday is a long day for me. Start work at 8AM, knock off at 3:15, but then straight down to the athletics track for my first training session. Finish there around 5:30, then back across town for fire brigade training. Finally got home a bit before 8:30. :)

    How far was the walk?

Haha, some trips are routine and boring. :)

My goodness I am unfit though.

I can fix that, though for someone like you, the fix is painful and will take a fair while. :D Fitness is one of my strong attributes these days. The average 20 or 30 something doesn't keep up with me for long. :) Had a young guy join the fire brigade team a month or so ago. That night, I was running the session - a speed endurance/fitness session, consisting of 3 sets of 3 150 metre runs (fairly fast - 24-27 seconds each for me), with 40 seconds rest between each run and around 3 minutes between sets. He didn't have hid running gear with him, so he just watched and at the end, said he was glad he didn't have his gear lol. The other guys found the session pretty tough. It wasn't easy fo me, though I did lead the way because I'm used to that sort of training - do it all year round.

So yes, I can help you fix the fitness problem. :D

Well my Tuesday is coming to an end.

Been working from home today and just dipped into the BBS to read some
    messages etc.

During my lunch break my wife asked me if I could lug down the many boxes we have in the roof that store our Christmas decorations along with the plastic tree. So after a bunch of huffing and puffing (I'm unfit, I said it) I got it all down.

While I have been focused on work stuff this afternoon the tree has gone up
in the lounge and some lights and decorations are on it. Spotify is getting a work out and hear a bunch of the usual pop hits playing next door to where I
    am sitting.

The day started out warm and nice but has turned cool with rain on the way.

Tonight I may do some website work and if lazy end up watching Netflix :)

The day started out warm and nice but has turned cool with rain on the
    way.

It's been hot here.. too hot. Though this afternoon it's supposed to rain
with possible storms, hopefully that will cool things down.

Tonight I may do some website work and if lazy end up watching Netflix
    :)

Cool, I really have to get back into netflix, I started watching sabrina
on netflix and was enjoying it, then the room leaked and we had to move
stuff so it didn't get wet, the carpets moldy and the room smells, so
    haven't been back in there.

It's not too bad now after airing it out for a few weeks, but the stuff
is still moved and will remain moved until they fix the problem.

Been working from home today and just dipped into the BBS to read some messages etc.

I've been messing around with a couple of languages scheme which I don't
know at all, and golang which i've only dabbled in before..

Trying to think of ways to implement a web interface to my new bbs system.

I'm not sure if I can do it in scheme, golang seems feasable, but I need
to learn a lot more first.

work out and hear a bunch of the usual pop hits playing next door to

The neigbours? I hope they have good taste in music. Our neighbours
change pretty frequently but we have had some poor music choices in the
past. The current ones don't often play music loudly, actually I don't
think they have at all, rather it's been workers with their radios that I
    hear.

Here in Germany it is not too warm. 5 degrees Celsius, and of course a rainy day. Just autumn weather ;)

Mine is just starting. 7am at the moment.

The day started out warm and nice but has turned cool with rain on the way.

Cold and snow for the last couple days. Currently sitting at -1 and snow
predicted for the evening / overnight. Ordered some new tires as you can
see through mine and they should be installed at 3 this afternoon. Wasn't
going to spend the money but I like having my own vehicle so figured some
repair work is much cheaper then another car. ;) Smashy lives!
