If my some chance I do get Internet Wifi on my Tablet, I can VNC into the System and Check and also access the Telent Via HTTP ...

Long Flight, Going to Queensland (Cairns) Australia. Have plans on going to
see the Great Barrier Reef, Relaxing in the City and going to take some tours of the Daintree Rainforest. Very Excited!

I hope you have a good time away. Someone or someone(s) here abouts are
in Cairns I read the other day. Maybe you can meet up and have a sysop
meet if schedules can be made to work.

I live in Cairns, the only negative at the moment is the heat and humidity other than that you will enjoy the trip, especially to the reef.

I also suggest you do the Kuranda trip by senic rail and back by the cable
car, when you get back down, it's right next to the artillery museum which has the biggest collection in the southern hemisphere and is worth spending two hours on.

    Enjoy.

the creepy crawlies and bitey things we have. Oh and watch out for the Kangaroos on main st. ;)

been planning this trip for two years. We are excited...... and yes, it is
all hoping to see the Joey's .... they are so damn cute!

Live in Florida, Summer here is extremely hot and humid .. no issues on that.

It's been 20 years since I've been up there, loved the time I spent in Cairns. I plan to fix that in 2021, when I come up for the Great Barrier Reef Masters Games. :)

I also recommend the train and cable car trips. Haven't seen the artillery museum myself. Sounds like something to do when I'm up next. :)

I'd be more concerned about the jellyfish in the ocean and the crocs. :D December is within stinger season, so stay out of the water and use the hotel's pool instead. :)

Haha I'm so used to seeing 'roos that they don't rate a mention. There's a mob of 20 or 30 that watch on while we train at the athletics track here. :)

You should be in your elemment then. I'm more used to hot, dry summers, though I did spend a week in Darwin during the "build up", when temperatures and humidity are both high, and was fine. :)

    :)

The artillery museum has now doubled in size this year as there wasn't enough space for all the exhibits, my friend from Scotland who was with me said he
was amazed that Cairns had such a museum. The amazing thing is that it is actually owned by one person who started a personal collection which has now developed into a tourist attaction.

The blubottle is a minor annoyance compared to the box jellyfish and those other tiny ones that also pack a lethal punch.

There's a man in Portola Valley, a sleepy little town full of millionaires
who created Silicon Valley in the 70s. One of them had a private collection
of TANKS. 200 of them. They've all moved out of the area, 120 of them sold

Isn't that sad, people don't appreciate something till they loose it.

Luckily Cairns is a tourist city as it is the gateway to the Great Barrier
Reef and the tropical rainforest so having other attractions is great for visitors.
