    Hey

I'm trying to work on improving Galactic Dynasty and For Honour. I think
I've fixed the problem with the bank, but not certain.

I know quiet a few of you are playing so, anything you pick up on it
would be really helpful if you post messages here to let me know what
you're seeing and if you have any ideas on how it could be better.

When I started on Galactic Dynasty (years ago!) it was with the idea of
it evolving with ideas from the community, so I don't have any set plans
for it beyond what it is now, but I would like to iron out any bugs with
what we've got before adding new features.

With for honour, I think it's too easy at higher levels. The stats scale
up but the difficulty of the monsters don't seem to scale up evenly. I'm
not good with maths, so for me to fix it, it will be a lot of trial and
    error.

I also know it's quiet a challenge to run an interbbs game with so many
nodes.. so I am mindful of "releasing early and often" and the work it
makes for not just Paul, but all the nodes connected to the game.

A while ago I had the notion of setting up a "test league" but I don't
think that was necessary then, and I don't think it's necessary now, but
I am wondering if those who are keen on the games would like to take a
more active role in it's development. This I am thinking would just be a
matter of having a local game on your BBS that you can test with in
addition to the fsxnet league, and can perhaps update more frequently.
Of course I'm always open to PRs if you are into coding, but beware I
tend to be a bit fussy with them :P

I know many of you have provided feedback in the past, and I'm grateful
for that, I suppose this is more a message for newer people to fsxnet,
that I'm keen to hear from anyone on ideas for improvement. Constructive critisim etc.

I currently run local games so I would be glad to assist.

BTW, did you get my message about the newest GD (with the new door
framework) not working on this end? I was able to run the git clone
fine, but the git for the magidoor returned an error so I was not able
    to continue.

Oh I did, sorry. I forgot to reply :(

I think the problem may have been you might not have changed directory
into the galactic dynasty directory to do the git checkout. (I didn't
    write that step - oops).

Anyway, I've pushed it into master now, so that step is no longer
    necessary.

Looks like it worked this time, thanks!

Ah, does this mean if I type say 1 it will put in all? (I think this would be a nice feature)

Agreed, it seems like once the player hits level 5+ the monsters seem way to weak. (Not to mention in LORD there is a end goal, to kill the dragon... perhaps add that into For Honour as well, or something like it)

I also know it's quiet a challenge to run an interbbs game with so many nodes.. so I am mindful of "releasing early and often" and the work it makes for not just Paul, but all the nodes connected to the game.

Yes, the updates do take some time to get completed... especially when there are new folks joinning in as well, perhaps someone (or me) could make a step by step guide as to exactly how to install and update the games...
(Though right now BZ&BZ BBS just has For Honour and currently does not have Galactic Dynasty)

At BZ&BZ BBS we have both a Local copy and Inter-BBS copy of For Honour.
