I have used it as my main OS before... I choose windows now
because I'm lazy and don't care enough anymore. I mean I use
dosbox for offline mail and a web browser. LOL

You use a web browser in dos box? Or do you mean you use a web browser
in windows and dosbox as well (for offline mail)

I know there is a web browser for dos called arachne or something, but I
can't think of a reason to prefer it over a more modern browser.

I have a few computers (no I won't count lol) but set up as a desktop I
have a windows computer and a linux (opensuse tumbleweed) one. I prefer
working with linux for programming and stuff, and use windows for things
that are easier to do there.

Although the tinkerer in me likes netbsd and openindiana - it's just not
really practical to use it for a daily desktop machine (too many nice
things don't run - or are crashy)

Sorry a web browser in windows, and dosbox. That is pretty much all I
    do now. :(

I like Haiku and OS/2 but neither are practical to use daily.
