I was thinking, maybe in the future, it could be possible to add where
Mystic, can use "anyones" mods. Like I want to add a feature that PCBoard (example only) uses, well it would be possible. I do understand that there
has to be, or probably has to be research into this, and mostly likely it
would help if there was source code for such a project. I am not try to change the way Mystic is - just possibly improve it.
I think the following would be great:
    1. Synchronet - all apps can be used - since digitalman is going to a jsexec type platform.
    2. OBV/2 - its coming and his look on bbs'ing is quite nice.
    3. Torrents

Thanks for reading - I would like to know what you think?

in the end i think it's be better to expand what new things can be done.. i can already re-implement just about any mod i find for another bbs in mystic.. so i don't really need a way to run some really old mod.

did you have anything specific in mind? maybe as a group we can work something out :)

That's what I always liked about the BBS software I use, WWIV. When you register it, you get the source code and can modify it to your heart's content. I was fortunate that a few of the mods I created were implemented in later official releases of the software.
Now, WWIV is Open Sourcem and even better!
