Have you tried (or do you have access to) the La Croix sparkling water canned drinks? They have a lot of "flavors" to choose from.

I haven't looked at La Croix specifically, but most of those kinds of drinks have chemical sweeteners. No problem if you have only 1 or 2
per day, but most of what you should be drinking is just plain water.
I need to research how they make them because, yeah, what the heck does 'essenced' mean? It's definitely not a sweetener because they don't
taste sweet and chemical sweteners I don't like. And it is zero
calories. It is like they just put a hint of the flavoring in them from whatever fruit name in on the can. Hmm...time to find out what it is.

But to the point, La Croix is sparkling water with flavoring, and by "flavoring", I mean either "artificial flavors" or "natural flavors"
(of which the actual difference is minimal).
Another thing that people forget is that sweeteners like Splenda is made from sugar. There's just no carbs left in what they take out. But it's **still** a chemical sweetener - just from a "natural" source.

And I was really excited at this description, but when I tried it, it
did turn things sweet, but _fake sugar_ sweet.
And suddenly it just didn't seem that interesting.
The plant is still pretty neat, though, and makes an excellent
container plant.
I can usually keep the plant from dying when it's mature, but I've had no success growing something from seed.
where i used to work we had jugs of that flavoring stuff. intended for beverage design. a whiff of that can be a shock ;)

It's probably _still_ healthier to drink tap water, but that's probably mostly about running carbonic acid over teeth.

I'm all for fluoride treatments at the dentist. Not at a kid's birthday party.
for the kids. When I read the label, I saw "FLUORIDE INFUSED FOR DENTAL HEALTH" on the bottle. Really? In bottled water?

Our tap water is good, but the best (not counting well water) was the
city water when we lived in Toronto.

My family's cabin is supplied by snow run-off collected in a reservoir about a half-mile away. It's the best water I've drunk - bottled, tap, whathaveyou.
