    Howdy,

    Testing 2 from CyberBBS

I know you are building this BBS, so I thought I'd mention that I've noticed something odd about your echomail.

In Synchronet, your message is being shown as if it is coming from Hub 2, so I'm not sure if the issue is with hub 2 (my hub) or your message.

    SBBS reports this:
    2022-04-27 07:45:24 Importing /opt/sbbs/fido/inbound/0fe0c4df.pkt (Type 2e, 1.2KB) from 21:2/100 to 21:2/116
2022-04-27 07:45:24 FSX_GEN: Failed to parse Origin Line in message from nugax (21:2/100) in packet from 21:2/100: /opt/sbbs/fido/inbound/0fe0c4df.pkt
    2022-04-27 07:45:24 Imported: 1 msgs fsx_gen <- FSX_GEN
    2022-04-27 07:45:24 Imported: 1 msgs total

(Which is strange, as it appears to visually have a valid origin line.)

And the message has these attributes:

    X-FTN-AREA FSX_GEN
    X-FTN-MSGID 21:1/167 0FC2AC08
    X-FTN-PID CyberBBS v1.0.8
    X-FTN-TID ctoss/1.0.8
    X-FTN-PATH 1/167 100 2/100
    SenderNetType FidoNet
    SenderNetAddr 21:2/100

If you use the FSX_TST echo, and send a message to "All" with subject "TEST" (case in-sensitive), both the hub and the clearing houz will respond to it with some header info - it'll probably help confirm if it is leaving your system with an issue, or if Hub 2 is not handling it properly. (Hub 1 will send it direct to the robot - which is using hpt.)

Could it be that his tear line has square brackets in it?

    [ ] vs ( )

Most tear lines I've see have normal rounded brackets.

    Tear line or Origin line?

I dont think it matters with Tear lines, but Origin lines should have () and it appears to me that it does.

    * Origin: CyberBBS BBS System | http://www.cyberbbs.com (21:1/167)

But what I did notice, is that that origin line should have a space before the asterisk, and it it doesnt. That might be throwing things off.

Now that you've pointed it out, yes there is a space missing.
