    From apam@21:1/126 to All on Mon Oct 28 16:07:20 2019
    Hi All

    I've decided to do something a bit different for documentation than use
    a wiki.

    Documentation is now plain text files in the MagickaBBS git tree.
    Documentation can be accessed via:

    * your favorite text editor
    * https://magickabbs.com/docs/
    * gopher://magickabbs.com:2070/

    Currently I've populated it with all the old documentation, and am in
    the process of updating it / formatting it etc.

    If you want to help feel free to do a merge request :) Though, I don't
    expect it.

    It's my mission for this week to get it all up to date. So no new
    feature requests / bug reports to distract me :P (though i did notice a
    node must have crashed on happyland last night. :( I don't know why...)

    Oh, I also added a basic page to https://magickabbs.com/ if you want
    your BBS listed let me know, I'm not going to add anyone unless they
    request it (ie. they might not want it listed).

    Looks good, I can download and upload (to the incoming directory) when I
    log in with my BBS username and password and only download when logged in anonymously.

    It's also running through systemd wit a simple unit.

    I'll wait until I get Magicka moved to the main domain name so you
    don't need to change it. :)

    I thought you'd like that, I think I remember you saying it would be
    good to be able to download the documentation. :)

    No worries.

    Totally. Couple of reasons: 1) if the web site is down we have it, and
    2) when I'm working in the woods on limited bandwith. :)

    Yeah, it worked out well. I wanted to use a wiki so others could help
    with documentation if they chose to, but doing a git merge request
    should work just as well I think.

    I think the documentation is mostly updated now, I just need to write a
    few pages on QWK networking.

    If you (or anyone else) spots any errors, let me know :)

    Will do! I've been reading it here and there to get things setup, so
    far it's been good.
