    Yes, it is designed to do that depending on what MUTIL is doing. It can't renumber messages while receiving them for example. So in that cause binkp is disabled while the message areas are renumbered and worked on. It can't
    delete users while users are logging in, so users connections are disabled while users are being deleted and renumbered. There are a number of things
    that lock out other things. It is designed that way so it will work. In truth it was always that way the old utilities (mbbsutil) did that too. So it
    depends on what mutil is doing at the time.

    Yes, I am running 64-bit latest version of Mystic and it does this as well.

    Havent seen it on Linux...

    You have, you just know it's normal. When mutil is renumbering and deleting users, users can't login. When message bases are being renumber and packed
    you can't do binkp do receive new messages. It's the way it has to work, but Muqax doesn't realize that. Mutil has replaced the older mbbsutil that used
    to lock out some use for the same reasons.
