    Hello All,

i want to update my BBS from Mystic 1.12.A43 to the latest version.

I have changed some ansi- and ini-files and edited many of the prompts.

I'm afraid of having do everything again...

Make a backup just in case and do the upgrade. There are steps found in upgrade.txt to guide you and we are here to answer questions if you have them!

You don't have to do anything again.

There are people like Jack Phlash and Dreammaster who have upgraded through all of the Mystic versions for the past 20+ years without having to redo their
    BBS! :)

I've only had to start from scratch once, and that was my own damn fault
seeing as though I let myself get way too far behind in the upgrades and had too many archaic-style mods (in which newer versions made things 10x easier) that it wasn't worth the trouble. But to be fair, the option to upgrade
through all of the version was always there. lol

Yeah man, at one point I absolutely had to. I'd be going back and forth with g00 via email about some of the mods I was working on, and then he would release an update that made my life 10x easier as far as what I was trying to do. I think at that point I put so much work and headache into those stupid mods I let myself get too far behind in the upgrade process, and just started over so I could utilize all of the new stuff. ;)

I defininately agree that there are times it just makes sense to start over
and remod stuff. I've even done that on my own BBS in the past (which is
also a good way for me to test random things and think of new ideas too).

I spent weeks rewriting my mods just to get them working, but you are
correct, it is 10x easier now.
