• Rolling back to A39

From Michael Borthwick@21:4/132 to All on Wed Jan 2 12:44:59 2019
Just wondering what files I need to roll back to A39?

I have copied the A39 executables and users.dat, do I need to copy all the
.dat files as well? What other files are required to perform the roll back?

    Thanks!

Honest should have a full backup before any upgrade, doing bits and peices
does not work when it comes to rolling software back.

Of course I took a backup.. but I upgraded 7 days ago... if I restore the complete backup I'll lose 7 days worth of messages and files... I was trying
    to avoid that if possible.

Fair...to a point. I don't need to back up, say, files in my filebases, or doors, or things like that. But yeah, I guess all other dirs/files are
    probably necessary.

Restore the backup you made (you made one, didn't you? ;)

Well, I'd imagine the main Mystic directory, as well as the scripts would need to be restored. Would have to check the upgrade.txt to see if any of the other changes made need to be undone.

There isn't any pressing issue with the current builds. These are people testing the SSL connection feature that is a work in progress. They can simply turn it off.

Really frustrating when people do this shit.

I had some issues getting TICs and mail out with A42, but it turned out to be due to stale semaphores (probably from an unclean shutdown that I had to do the other day), which a ./fidopoll killbusy fixed. All seems fine now. :)
