Why will the year 2038 be the next bug for bbses?
I'll bite. It has to do with the calendar for 32bit linux operating systems. If you are 64, it shouldn't affect you.
The latest time that can be represented in Unix's signed 32-bit integer time format is 03:14:07 on Tuesday, 19 January 2038 (231-1 = 2,147,483,647 seconds after 1 January 1970).[1] Times beyond that cause signed integer overflow, which is an example of C's undefined behavior
