HO and G scale, off and on around Christmas time, 'cept my kids tend to destroy 'em. :-)

    Hi Jason,

Have'nt heard from you in a while :)

I love building trainsets, have'nt fooled with one in years but would love to get back into it If I had the room to set one up as I wish.

How much are does your set cover as of now?

I meant to say area :)

but the nicest one I've had to date is an ho scale one, I had 5 locomotives and 22 cars, I had it setup sith a cool little trainyard w/ roundhouse was working on landscapes and all.

It's fairly costly regardless of the way you go, I can vouch for that, But I cannot see paying the extra premium for lionel.. and all the lionel ones are too big for my liking.

Yes, I have been trying to model HO scale for about 15 years now. I may finally have enough room to do so, but am now too short on $$$ for it!
    That should change here shortly.

I picked HO because it was what I had when I was a kid, and I still had
some track left. N would have been a good answer for my space problem, but
I also like to paint and dry-transfer letter my own equipment. N would
have been too small for my eyes (HO nearly is, sometimes!).

I am meaning to concentrate on the mid-to-late 1950's. I like steam &
early diesels. Originally, I had intended to model the L&N, but decided to free-lance. The L&N never ran some of the engines I really like (Alco PAs
& Baldwin Sharks, for example). My road does. ;-)
