Well played. Although for some reason the Packers definitely don't seem to be firing on all cylinders lately. I can't pinpoint if it's the play calling, or the quarterback being too hyped up in his commercials and advertisements (causing his head to get too big), rather than focusing on the game.

The two Cowboys rookies played very well though, with all that said.

    Regards,
    Nick

Been a Packer fan all my life, over 50 years. Listened to the game on the radio at work. Heard something I'd thought that I would never hear--Packer fans at Lambeau BOOING them. I was sick to my stomach. My sister still lives up north, she said there's some negative mojo going on between Rodgers and McCarthy.

The only thing I can possibly think of is that Rodgers doesn't like the way McCarthy has seemed to become very conservative in his play calling this year (and part of last) ever since he took it back over. Before he gave up the play calling, he was way more aggressive, and it seemed to work well.

That would be insane if people had to go that route. I could just see
any use of such being classified as terror right out of the gate.

Name a state where the right to own a gun has been taken away, or any state where it's even been proposed?

I don't know of a state that has removed the right to own a gun. I also don't know all the laws, but this is what I've heard but not totally confirmed. Some fellons after they've served their sentence can no longer purchase a gun legally. I think it may even apply to owning a gun.

I heard multiple states restrict fellons even after they've served for their crimes. Now I get that a majority of fellons are repeat offenders and are likely to commit similar crimes they have in the past (violent), so I get the desire to curtail rights in those circumstances. The kicker is fellons and other criminals who perpatrate crimes using weapons (against the law) don't follow laws but use weapons to commit crimes against people who usually don't have weapons. I don't see how laws prevent crimes that are the antithesis to law abiding.

Are fellons considered in your question?

I do know there are restrictions on types of guns and munitions.

I do know there is legislature now attempting to constrain rights concerning magazine types and designs.

This is what I don't understand why pass laws that have no deterant against those who have no intention of following them, when the very nature of the law only hurts those who follow it?

Some look at it this way, if its my right to own a gun why do I have to have a background check to purchase one.

So if its my right to own a gun (type not widthstanding) then there should be no issue with me making a gun.

We know this right now the plans for weapon creation by regular citizens has be removed from the internet via legal means.

There are a lot of restrictions on guns. Like you can own one but you can't carry it openly in some states.

Look at your right to speach ... and compare that right with your right to bear arms. The right to bear arms isn't specific to guns but guns are considered arms or armerments.

So its a very interesting debate.

sorry for the spelling and grammer errors.

Yeah that was some sort of "debate" cross-posting config error. Dovenet has its own Firearms sub but from the looks of it, that wasn't it either.

I saw a Daisy BB/Pellet gun combo with scope at Walmart the other day for like $28.00. Was an amazing deal. Brought back memories of the 1st Daisy i received on xmas morning all those years ago.

Going through some old photos the other day i actually found a picture of me holding up one of my early Daisy BB rifles but i can't recollect if the one
in the photo is my 1st.

Speaking of target shooting, did anyone catch any of the Rio Olympic shooting?

Xuan Vinh Hoang won the men's 10m air pistol title.

I still have my first BB/pellet rifle, a Crossman 766 pump-action. I got it out a few years back, tightened the screws and lubed it good. Still fires
    real accurate.

I actually got back into target shooting as a hobby for a while. While doing research into the 766, I found some other guns I wanted. Now I have a couple of pump pistols and a couple of break-barrel springer rifles. I like those. Been a while since I have had a chance to shoot them, though.
