I've never heard of that echo - another problem Fidonet has is with so many dead echoes it's hard to find the live ones. I don't think I've ever seen that echotag on the STATS echo, is it alive?

I've been linked for ages as it turns out, but no traffic seen here.

I have put in a request to "please add" FUTURE4FIDO. I hope I did it right, including the --- at the end. Hopefully it will spring to life.

I did this before with IEEE years ago, but I am surprised this process has not been improved upon, somehow.

A couple of systems/sysops have seen my initial posts and an exchange is working.

You talking about Areafix or something more manual with your upstream?

    OK, I'll look again. :)

I haven't seen any mention of that echo in a decade or so. I'd call it dead.

I hope August can bring some life back to it.

Same here. This is exactly what we are talking about, people complaining because you use an echo to actually *DO SOMETHING*. I mean, the horror!

Can you cite the last known tag info for the echo? When was it created? I'd love to know. Maybe the person behind it is dead. I researched the various stats echos that I could access. My feed was probably not very amused seeing me
pull in over 43,000 messages back to 2010, and that was just one echo. The echotag was not to be found.

The echo seems to be dead (at least since 2010). You throw stones at me. yet you have no problem honouring the requirement to renew a domain before the deadline or else the domain is up for grabs to anyone.

I like you. Your involvement in greenpeace and the return of the bible from WW1
is praiseworthy. But you seem to have changed.

    It's not dead anymore. ;)
