Sounds like a fun day! When I am off work for the weekend, I try to
spend as much time as possible outside if the weather permits.

I am doing more of that also, but used to spend more time on the PC during
the weekend so perhaps I'm getting wiser or just older heh...

It is cool crisp Sunday morning as I type this. It has been fall here
for weeks, but the cool weather just arrived two days ago. We went from 80F to highs aound 50F. Dropped 30 degrees in one day. That is
supposed to continue this week with some nights getting into the 30s! Looks like we might be going from the A/C to gas furnace in a matter of
    a week.

Monday night now over here. Been cooler temps up to 12C and mostly cloudy. It was the first day of the new school term (term 4) so the kids were back in force on the roads this morning as they trekked to school etc. Work was OK today but glad to be home now. Just had dinner and catching up on echomail before looking at some TV

Once I finish my morning coffee, will be going outside on this cool day
to cut the lawn. The leaves are starting to fall a bit, but not in full swing yet.

Here the blossoms are out and those are the leaves falling right now :)

    Best, Paul

I try to keep the balance going.. PC and fun time, plus outdoor fun time.

It is Friday evening here right now. Our temperatures have really dropped this
week. I had frost on my car this morning for the first time this season. Steam was rising out of the streams on the way to work, since the water temps are still relatively warm vs. the air temp. It went down to 35F last night here! This after being in the 80s-F just a week or so ago.

Our leaves are starting to fall now.. Especially after these cold nights. Seems
NZ is stealing our daylight, too.. :)

Wow, yep it's warming here top of 21 C today and similar temps for the rest
of the week. Tomorrow (my Sunday) I might even get a BBQ running yay!

I'm trying to grow lawn grass right now from seed, nothing has germinated yet but hopefully by the time we next chat I might be able to report having a
green thumb. Sunset tonight is around 9.30pm :)

We use our BBQ all year. The only trouble I have, is if it gets dark. I sometimes have to use a flashlight to see what I'm doing... :)

I wish I could use ours all year but I'd have numb fingers and frost bite if
    it did :)

Thnk you did better than us here. Cold front came through, was bier for a couple of hurs, but cleared up and was col with a strong southerly wind at the track. Tough conditions, with a headwind in the sprints.

Bloody grass won't stop growing here. Wow late sunset, only setting at 7:45PM here these days.

Good luck with your grass seed growing project.. :) Never thought about it before, but your sunsets must really change between seasons. More than in my area. 9:30pm for sunset is much later than we ever have sunset.

Right now, our sunset is at 6:19pm - and that will get much earlier in a few more weeks during daylight savings time when we move the clocks back an hour. I'll be leaving work in the dark..
