So I call it ANSItex - it has the same functionality as Videotex (IE: frame driven, and everything is on a page number) - with the "*" the
start of most operations and the "#" being the end of each operation.
(0-9 are also inputs in some cases.)

Well, this one I can access. Still working out how to get around, but it's an interesting way of doing things. :)

Essentially, getting around is star, number, hash, where the number represents a page of information. For example, I put something on FSXnet on page 321, so to get to it, you press *321#.

Each page is made up of a number (eg: 321 for FSX) and a single letter a-z. A is the first, pressing "#" gets you to "b" if it exists and so on.

HASH is the enter key, although I've mapped most usage of CR to it as well (might have missed on or two here/there).

Each page, can have 11 destinations (number 0-9 & #), which when pressed will take you to that destination. "#" normally gets you to the "b" page if you
were on the "a" page, the "c" page if you were on the "b" page and so on.

There are some "magic" codes: *0# takes you back to the main menu, *# takes
you back one page, *00 refreshes the frame, *09 reloads the frame, ** clears your input (if you are on a response frame)....

Yeah I was starting to get the idea, and in the case of fsxnet, I noticed you could do it in steps, or go directly there with *321#.

Makes sense. And I did discover *# for going back to the previous page.

Those will take longer to remember, but handy to know. :)

Remember in the Videotext world you could also use numbers to navigate and
    use intermediate pages.

For example if you had 10 - News Headlines, 11 - World News, 12 Local News

Pressing 1 would take you to a page which would have had "0 New Headlines, 1 World News, 2 Local News".

So you could still have traditional menus along with your *# codes.
