The reason I ask, as I get Fidonet point netmail no problem at all. (And it is configured the same way as FSX - ie: MBSE is my .0, and Mystic is
    my .1).

Since I dont see my point netmail arriving (at MBSE to forward to
Mystic), I'm assuming it is either lost at my hub, or the senders...

I found an issue at NET 2 HUB

So the sending from 1/101 to 1/100 runs fine.

    At 1/100 I see

and it lands at NET 2 2/100 but then..

    [snip]

Huh?? So after some checking I found an incorrect entry in the Route Info for node 2/145 ... whoops!

So have removed that and will run another test shortly.

    Howdy,

My Mystic BBS is setup as a point from my mail hub (MBSE) - and I've noticed that Netmail to it is hit and miss.

Does FSX support Netmail to points? Could you netmail me (21:2/116.1)
and post here that you have. I'll reply that I got it, and hopefully
    you get something back.

(I've tried netmailing me from other BBS, and it never arrives to my point. :(

Just sent you a netmail at your point, let me know if you get it. :)

It's more a case of how Mystic handles it vs a fsxNet thing. They key
will be to get netmail addressed to your point to your BBS that feeds
your point. Which I take it would be be 21:2/116

Point netmail should be routed to the boss node, which should know what to do with it (HOLD? CRASH? depending on configuration). The boss node should have a routing entry for the point, along with the appropriate flavour for mail.

As the network does not have points listed in the nodelist and I think points rely solely on the system that knows of them and feeds them
their echomail etc. to handle the routing of netmail etc. to them.

    Agree.

At a HUB level if I send something from NET 1 to a NET 2 address the
HUBs will route netmail to 21:2/xxx sent from 21:1/xxx to the NET 2
HUB. I'm not sure but presume a netmail for 21:2/116.1 will be sent to 21:2/116 from the NET 2 HUB. I'll try and you let me know if you see anything. I'm at work but if I get time tonight I will check HUB logs
and let you know what I see.

You should also see a netmail pass from me to hub 2 on the way to Deon. :)
