I've written a long ansi file for the preuser.ans file for a mystic bbs i'm mucking around with but for some reason it just displays the last 40 lines.. i'm trying to get it to scroll from the top of the ansi so it displays it all.
is there something special i need to do to the .ans file to get it to scroll slowly?

This is not my area of expertise but you can add special MCI codes for some of this stuff..

A.8 Miscellaneous Unsorted Codes

So a pipe followed by a code like PO then a pipe and the DI code
perhaps?
Others will know more than I but that's my 2 cents :)
While reading of Your troubles, I got a B-I-G I-D-E-A.
Dust off the old XT 8088 4.7 Mc. PC Clone and use that for the Mystic
BBS.
Slow enuf???? ??
Years ago I saw a Monitor in a catalog that the Screen could be turned 90 Degrees.
It would let You see more of the ANSI ART You created.
Thanks for those codes, they work fine in slowing down the ansi. Only problem now that it's slow.... half the colours are blinking and the ansi is shifted left.
It looks horrid :( It looks fine in pablodraw and thedraw.. spinning up a dos box to test in aciddraw...
It could be you're using ICE colours (high intensity colours as
I just remembered another one - I was reading about the Turbo Button
and the writer said pressing that button slows the CPU instead of
speeding it up.

Not sure if joking or serious.

I can recall a button like that and the thing was I discovered under
the hood it was not plugged in - ha! :)

I did see a listing for a Monitor that was made to do that.
You could swivel the screen on the stand.
