Hey everyone, just curious - is there a way to change your total
callers #? I've been testing out a new Mystic BBS deployment and as a result have logged in several times. I can just delete callers.dat to erase the logins, but can't seem to find a way to change the total
number of calls back to 0?
erase the logins, but can't seem to find a way to change the total number of calls back to 0?Do you want it reset to zero or 1?
Well I just wanted to reset it as close to a "fresh" BBS count as possible. So 1 or 0 is fine either way. I was just curious if thereerase the logins, but can't seem to find a way to change thetotal

was a way to set it lower.
I see you are running 1.12 A39, which is good, this has only been tested on A39! Also note this is a Windows 32/64-bit executable (I don't do Download file http://cmech.dynip.com/mcallerz.zip, unzip and copy mcallerz.exe to the Mystic HOME folder and execute. Your caller count

with 113 when you installed it. lost the source sadly. the records for the mystic.dat and other files in in the doc directory in your bbs.
Are you sure its in mystic.dat. I thought Mystic, was calculating
total calls by adding total calls of each user, from the users.dat
file. Can you pinpoint the field in the record of the mystic.dat file, that holds that number?

It's located at offset 10, long int (4 bytes)

It's located at offset 10, long int (4 bytes)so:
RecConfig = Record // MYSTIC.DAT // INTERNALS
DataChanged : String[8]; //
Version of last data change
SystemCalls : LongInt; //
system caller number SystemCalls is it ;) That makes sense hope it was xqtr that was looking for it, but now we know what to change in
mystic.dat to reset it (via hexedit or the like), offset 10.
i was wondering why your bbs was not polling or answering.

I had a failure on the primary system that was hosting my BBS
originally. This happened at a pretty unique time after getting a new
job, a new house, etc. As I'm finally getting settled in I'm working on getting the system up and running. Unfortunately between the job/house
I have way less disposable time, but I do hope to have everything
working soon(tm).

go to the records and look in RecConfig = Record
RecConfig = Record // MYSTIC.DAT // INTERNALS
DataChanged : String[8]; // Version of last data change
SystemCalls : LongInt; // system caller number
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ right there.
It's located at offset 10, long int (4 bytes)This worked perfectly. Thank you! I'm sure your utility would have
also worked but this was just faster and easier right now.
